Just Some Regular Montreal Convenience Stores: Ranked – I am a major enthusiast of convenience stores, and those I came across in Montreal didn’t disappoint. A few of them I wandered into because I had been eager and needed a treat, and some of these I proceeded to go into because I had been lost and practically would’ve strolled into anywhere-but most of them hold a particular place in my own heart.
Le Petit Dep
This was undoubtedly the fanciest convenience store I seen, and for that reason crushes your competition for the main spot. AS I came into the store, I couldn’t believe that my sight. I said, aloud, very loudly, startling other customers. The shopping baskets were genuine wicker baskets plus they sold pretty candies and beer-two things I really like deeply. I purchased little or nothing here because I needed to buy everything and became very overwhelmed. It really is my very best regret.

Other Couche Tard
This Couche Tard was beautiful and requires the quantity two area. I… didn’t actually go within it, however the sun was striking it at such a lovely angle i decided to have a photo. It appeared as if it belonged in heaven.*
Other Jean Coutu
As of this specific Jean Coutu, I also bought a Vitamin supplements Normal water and a necessary protein bar. I caught using what I knew, fine? Give me a rest. I got less enthused about my experience here, however, since it was a boring Vitamin supplements Water flavour that I’ve had often, but there weren’t much better options, therefore i said, “Well, I assume this works.” The health proteins club was also just fine. In all honesty, it made me just a little ill, but I really do employ a sensitive stomach so that it was probably my mistake. I’m providing it the quantity three location, because Personally i think bad about declaring anything negative about any of it, though. It had been fine.
I put just gone to two other convenience stores, therefore i definitely didn’t need to go in here, but I experienced never heard about it before therefore i believed that it was essential for me to explore it. And I’m pleased I did so. This pretty, healthy convenience store kind of appeared like a tiny Entire Foods since it sold tons of health food I didn’t know but really wished to purchase–and was also a touch too expensive for me personally. I purchased a handbag of Banana Thins just because a man was offering samples of these and I acquired many of the examples (he said I possibly could have as much as I wanted-I had three). In good conscience, I needed to buy a handbag. Also, these were quite good.
I got quite exhausted after an extended day wandering around Montreal and had a need to relax, therefore i bought two solo beers as of this B&D. You can’t buy solo beers at convenience stores where I live, which means this was very fascinating if you ask me. I simply buy two? That’s great! I don’t want a complete load up! I only want two. This is perfect. The cashier acquired mad at me, though, because I didn’t have a pen to hint the receipt with, and she acquired just lost hers. I didn’t know I used to be likely to bring my very own pen. “I am sorry, I don’t possess one,” I informed her. She stared at me. I stared back again. Then, she found a pen, and everything was fine. I remaining, slightly baffled, but very quite happy with my experience.
This Couche Tard might’ve been on the tiny aspect, but it crammed a punch-I found some great items. I purchased a Vitamin Drinking water flavor I got never seen before, and a taste of Trident Levels gum I had developed also never seen before (Orchard Peach + Ripe Mango).
This was an especially large Jean Coutu, that was great because I put a while to kill and may roam around for some time without looking just like a weirdo who didn’t have anything to do (despite actually being virtually that). I came across several good options here, including a maple proteins pub for a hot package of $1.49 and a Blu-Ray in the Mummy (or “La Momie”) for only $4.99. I had been more than pleased to pay $4.99 to see Brendan Frasier bravely experience in a few tombs while also slipping in love from the comfort of my Montreal accommodation.
